This Is Not Other Stupid Coachella Post

Everybody knows that Coachella has begun: Music, Fashion and Art get all together in Palm Springs (California) and It becomes a place where all kinds of subcultures coexist for a few days. However It's strange how the spirit of the festival has been changing in recent years. Definitely Coachella is one of the most important worldwide music dates, and people come from all over the world. This has meant that more and more brands are travelling to Indo desert to get in touch with their targets.

Besides most of the people stay in a hotel instead of camping, and the funniest thing about Coachella is that everybody looks like "I don't know what I'm wearing", but actually they have been deciding for hours what to wear! (hahaha LOL!)

So, where is it the real Coachella spirit?

Anyway, It seems to me that It has been an amazing first weekend with the Neon Carnival (Armani Exchange), Alt J, Daft Punk, Phoenix, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Phoenix performances, Harper’s Bazaar corner H&M little boats, Lacoste pool party, etc…

I’ve always wanted to go, but this year I felt a little bit closer, I have enjoyed the festival better than ever, thanks to Instagram, Vine and mainly to its Live Stream Channel on Youtube.

To end, do you wanna know why I love this festival so much?

It’s simple, It’s the best place to enjoy music, and fashion at the same time, just as Cocoricó's Philosophy loves to.

A estas alturas todo el mundo sabe que Coachella está en anda: Música, Moda y Arte se reúnen en Palm Springs (California) y el festival se convierte en un lugar donde todo tipo de subculturas conviven por unos días. Sin embargo es curioso como el espíritu del festival ha ido cambiado los últimos años. Definitivamente es una de las fechas más importantes en la agenda musical mundial al que acuden personas de todo el mundo, esto ha supuesto que cada vez más marcas viajen hasta el desierto de Indo para entrar en contacto con su target. Además muchos de los asistentes se alojan en hoteles en lugar del tradicional camping y actúan como si no supieran que llevan puesto cuando en realidad se han pasado horas decidiendo si el bolso de Valentino o de Chanel.

Así que, ¿donde quedó el verdadero espíritu Coachella?

De todas formas, me da la impresión de que ha sido un gran primer fin de semana con el Carnaval de Neón (Armani Exchange), los barquitos de H&M, el corner de Harper’s Bazaar, las fiestas en la piscina de Lacoste, y por supuesto las actuaciones de Alt J, Daft Punk, Passion Pit, Band of Horses, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, etc…

Siempre he querido ir (mucho antes de que llegara el #festureo), pero este año lo he vivido un poco más cerca gracias a Instagram, Vine, y sobretodo a su Live stream en Youtube.

Para ir terminando, la cuestión es: ¿por qué me gusta tanto este festival?

Es muy sencillo, porque en él se disfruta de la mejor música y moda al mismo tiempo, exactamente como dicta la filosofía de este blog.
