Print + Princess = Printcess (just in case)
Con permiso de la familia Pucci, desde hace unas cuantas temporadas Mary
Katrantzou ostenta el título de Princesa de Estampados. Gracias a sus colecciones
cargadas de combinaciones imposibles se ha convertido también en una de las más
esperadas de la semana de la moda londinense.
En esta ocasión la diseñadora ha presentado una propuesta cuya segunda
parte ha entusiasmado al público, y me atrevo a decir esto debido la cantidad
de imágenes y tweets en las redes referentes a los maravillosos estampados florales.
Es cierto que las flores no son lo más original del mundo para la
primavera-verano, sin embargo el trabajo de Mary Katrantzou, además de
prints, incluye bordados con Swarovsky, superposiciones, tejidos como el neopreno y una primera parte de la colección
cuyos estampados eran zapatos. Sí, zapatos.
A la par que el trabajo, su éxito también va creciendo y cada vez es una
de las más vestidas por las celebrities y todo aquel que se preste a pisar una
alfombra roja (o del color que sea) que valga la pena.
