Have you ever thought about how much Hedi Slimane have changed the saint Laurent universe since last year?

His fall/ winter '13 women collection for Saint Laurent Paris shocked everybody. It was totally unexpected, every look was pure rock, punk,  and It felt like while Slimane was drawing the sketches, he listened to Kourt Cobain's music and was inspired by the 90’s. To be honest, at first sight I didn’t like it at all, ‘cause It wasn’t what Saint Laurent is supposed to look like. However sometimes It’s hard  to get used to big changes, I guess that was what has happened to me.

Anyway, the last thing is the new Saint Laurent campaign: Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, Kim Gordon and  Ariel Pink have been chosen to star a portrait series shot by Hedi Slimane.  SIMPLY BRILLIANT!

At this point, all I have to claim is that this is the greatest idea in a while. When music and fashion work together is the best thing in this wild world of fashion.

¿Alguna vez has pensado cómo Hedi Slimane ha cambiado el universo Saint Laurent desde el año pasado?

Su  colección otoño / invierno '13 para mujer de Saint Laurent Paris sorprendió a todo el mundo. Fue totalmente inesperada, cada look era puro rock, punk, y daba la impresión de que  mientras  Slimane dibujaba los bocetos, escuchaba música de Kourt Cobain y se inspira en los años 90. Siendo honesta, a primera vista, no me gustó nada, porque no era lo que se supone  de Saint Laurent. Sin embargo a veces es difícil acostumbrarse a los grandes cambios,  y creo que eso fue lo que me pasó a mi.

De todos modos, lo último es la nueva campaña de Saint Laurent: Marilyn Manson, Courtney Love, Kim Gordon y Ariel Pink han sido elegidos para protagonizar una serie de retratos disparo de Hedi Slimane. Simplemente brillante!

En este punto, todo lo que tengo que decir es que esta es la mejor idea desde hace mucho tiempo. Cuando la música y la moda trabajan juntos es la mejor cosa en este mundo salvaje de la moda.
